A total of 190 students and teachers, from schools in Sepang, Hulu Langat, Petaling and Bestari Jaya, participated in the CerDig animation workshops held at MyCORE Centre, Cyberjaya from 22 - 24 Sept and 29 Sept - 1 October 2011.

The two 3-day workshops were packed with fun-filled activities for the participants who learnt the entire animation process from concept to presentation:

• Introduction and Animation Heritage
• Writing the Story  
• Developing the Storyboard
• Animation
• Editing and Adding Sound
• Presentation

Highlights of the workshops included talks by speakers from the animation industry such as Rhythm and Hues, Les’ Copaque of the Upin Ipin fame and MDeC.

Many participants asked to be invited again for subsequent workshops and asked for the workshop to be extended which would give them more time to work on their animations.
